Mahabharat Serial Songs. Hi, I've been asked by MSDN Support to try my luck in the forums. Basically, I've downloaded Windows Server 2003 x64 R2 SP2 (disks 1 and 2) from my MSDN subscription site.filenames en_win_srv_2003_r2_standard_x64_with_sp2_vl_cd1_x13-47808 and en_win_srv_2003_r2_standard_x64_with_sp2_vl_cd2_x13-68587 I clicked on the View link on the download page to view the product key, at which point another link appeared to 'Get' a key from the 10 available retail keys for the product. MSDN support advised me that I had chosen correctly from the list of available product keys.i.e.

Deathmatch Map Free Download For C.S 1.6. For Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition x64 R2 But on installation of the software, it will not recognise the key. I've tried getting 2 more keys for the same product, same result.

Does anybody have any ideas on this? MSDN support say I appear to be doing the right thing!

Cheers, Darren. Darren, Haven't heard from you yet, so let me give you the generic answer. Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2 x64, the products you've downloaded, are actually VL products. You can see this by clicking the second 'View' link (which corresponds to the 'keys' column) on the UI for these products.

When you do that, you'll see a 'View Custom Key' link, which, when clicked, shows the text as seen in this screenshot: What this means is that this is the Volume License build, and requires VL keys. The keys that you're using are actually To get the keys for use with this product, you need to follow one of the steps listed in this text. So this is the round about way to state the simple truth which is: you have to have both the right product and the right key to complete a successful install. Obvious, I know. But, if you have access to retail keys and dont have access to, or its not easy to get to, the VL keys, just change the product. The retail version of Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2 X64 is titled Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard x64 Edition with SP2 - Disc 1 (English) and Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard x64 Edition with SP2 - Disc 2 (English), and that should work with the keys you're using.

To make it easier to use the right key with the right product, always click the view link next to the product download link. You'll always be shown the keys that will work for that product (or at least how to get them, as above) Thanks, Mike MSDN and TechNet Subscriptions Support. Darren, Can you do the following for me? 1) visit and click the 'Site Feedback' link below. 2) This will pop a feedback form asking for your feedback, but this form will put an email in my inbox. Please share with me 2 things, via that form, 1) you windows live ID email address that you use for your MSDN Subscription 2) the method that you used to contact support when they told you to visit the forums. Was there a phone number that you called to reach these people, or was it online concierge, or.?

If you remember the name of the person you talked to, please share that as well. Thanks, Mike MSDN and TechNet Subscriptions Support.
