Cons: Nothing to it. Where's the fun?

I bought the Sims 2 Holiday Edition for one simple reason. I love the game The Sims 2. I have all of the expansion packs ever made, so I had to have this one when it came out as well. That was the one and only reason behind the purchase that I made. I purchased my copy of the Sims 2 Holiday Edition from the Walmart department store here in Rhode Island. At the time I thought that the price was good. Now I would not have spent the money if I had known how lousy it actually is. It pains me to say this, since as I said the Sims 2 is my favorite game. Requirements: You need to have Windows 98 or higher to run this game. It is rated E for every one.

My six year old daughter plays it, so it certainly is not very challenging. And it is easy to play. To install: Just open the game and insert the CD in to your PC. Now choose your install method.

This can be found on a long white sticker in side of the box that the game comes in. Enter that code. Now hit continue. After that you have to wait about 2-3 minutes for the game to complete the installation process. You will be asked to register.

You can do it now, wait or click never register. The game will automatically check for updates.

If you have existing Sims and housing you game will still be saved even though you have now installed the Sims 2 Holiday Edition. There is really no change in the way you play the game, it just now has more items and stuff of that nature. What the game has that is new: There are Halloween decorations, witch out fits, warlock out fits and more along that line.

You now have Easter items, including a Bunny costume to dress your Sims in. Despite the package showing the Easter bunny.

There is none in the game. There are now many Christmas items in your game. You can put up a Christmas tree and dress every Sims of any age in holiday clothing. The Christmas tree does light up. But again despite what you see on the packaging.
