We have folks who remotely connect and use the various Oracle products as well as other products that connect to Oracle (TOAD being one). What we are doing is instead of maintaining one master tnsnames.ora file (and putting up with the problems a corrupted one brings) is for each of us to have our own tnsnames.ora file. The remote access installed version of TOAD points to the tnsnames.ora file that OEM etc point to. Where can I go to change where TOAD points to the tnsnames.ora file? I'm not sure where to find it in the GUI, however it can be found in the Toad.ini. I believe the value is 'TNSLSMRUFilename'.
