What was so bad about the lock ups is that there was no way to stop Karma. Each lock up happened the same way.

The only way I could figure to close it was doing a CNTRL Alt Delete and going to the task manager to close it. It takes a while for the task manager to come up so it is very embarrassing waiting. There's no way I can just live with something like that. The show I was doing tonight was at a big casino paying me big bucks. Sorry to hear you're having problems, but I've read on other forums about other people having problems with Karma too. From what I've seen he will try to help, but if his few suggestions don't solve the problem you're out of luck and out of $99 dollars.

If for some reason it doesn't work out and you don't want to use Sax 'n dotty's any more, try Just Karaoke from Tricerasoft. It's simple to learn and use, inexpensive and it plays filler music between singers. I't not the greatest program out there, but it gets the job done and it's very affordable. I do recommend you do a couple of things. First, have someone look at all the installed programs on your laptop through the control panel Programs and Features on Vista and called something similar on Windows 7.
